Skim Schemes
Overview
Skim schemes can be used to configure a specific skim pattern to be used for your outgoing links. Rather than having a hard-coded skim percentage in the outgoing link URLs, you can instead
specify a skim scheme that has a different skim percentage based on the number of clicks the user has generated.
Toolbar Icons
On the toolbar at the bottom of the Tools > Skim Schemes page you will find the following icons:

When you add or edit a skim scheme you will be able to set the skim percentages for the first 7 clicks along with a cycle value for every click after the 7th. You are not required to
fill in every click value or cycle value. The minimum required is the first cycle value. Here are a few examples:
Skim all clicks at 70% to content
Skim 1st click 100% to content, 2nd click 0% to content, and all other clicks 70% to content
Cycle between 70% to content (1st, 3rd, 5th, etc) and 30% to content (2nd, 4th, 6th, etc)
Skim 1st click 100% to content,
2nd click 0% to content,
then cycle between 70% to content (3rd, 6th, 9th, etc), 30% to content (4th, 7th, 10th, etc) and 90% to content (5th, 8th, 11th, etc)

Dynamic skim schemes allow you to setup rules so that SFTrade can automatically adjust the skim percentages based on the day and/or time. This can be useful if you want to adjust the skim percentages
during known times of decreased traffic (typically very early in the morning and weekends). If you check the Dynamic checkbox for a skim scheme and then configure some rules by clicking on the
icon, SFTrade will automatically adjust the skim percentages based on the rules you set.
Dynamic skim schemes have the same 7 click fields and 3 cycle fields that you can fill in with the % to content values that you want to use when that rule is in effect. You can add as many rules as you like, and the priority will be set by the rule number. Rule #1 has top priority followed by rule #2 and so on.
